"When Blood Decides Power, Politics Turn Personal," the makers of Legacy stated, sharing a title announcement teaser for one of Vishwak Sen's upcoming movies. Legacy, whose release date is not yet announced, is directed by Saikiran Reddy Daida; his first release, Pindam, was a horror flick. This time, the director is making a political drama involving an estranged father-son duo.

Vishwak Sen makes his presence felt throughout, particularly towards the end where we see him urinate on a grave (ostensibly that of his late father, played by Rao Ramesh). The lead man asks if politics entails the patriarch to put his family on the line to be able to thrive/survive. "There comes a time when we intensely hate the very people we deeply love. While we want to run away from them, our DNA keeps pulling us back," the protagonist says, adding that an internal war for legacy is on.

Ekta Rathod, Sachin Khedekar, Bollywood actor Kay Kay Menon, and veteran artist Murali Mohan have prominent roles.

The film is produced by Yeshwanth Daggumati and Saikiran Reddy Daida, with Sanjay Sambrani and V.V.N. Prasad serving as co-producers. The story was penned by Saikiran Reddy Daida and Kavi Siddhartha, while Jiju Sunny handled the cinematography and Govind Vasantha composed the music. The technical crew further includes production designer Rajeev Nayar and editor Sirish Prasad. The film’s lyrics were written by Anantha Sriram and Kavi Siddhartha, with action sequences choreographed by Jashuva and costumes designed by Poojita Tadikonda and Naga Sai Charan.
