In the age of larger-than-life pan-India cinema, movies are increasingly getting louder and ultra-violent. Bucking the trend is Gandhi Talks, a silent, soothing film to be released in theatres on January 30th.

Zee Studios has collaborated with AR Rahman, the musical genius, on the artistic movie. Besides the Oscar Award-winner's Midas Touch, what this film relies on is its ensemble cast, led by the versatile Vijay Sethupathi, the nuanced Arvind Swamy, and the acclaimed Aditi Rao Hydari. Siddharth Jadhav has another prominent role.

Director Kishore Belekar has deployed silence as an elemental form of storytelling. Through the performances, the film seeks to achieve purity of emotion and rawness. "They loved in silence. They sinned in silence. They suffered in silence. This film speaks of that silence. A masterstroke in storytelling and one of the year’s most intriguing cinematic experiences, Gandhi Talks arrives in cinemas on 30th January," the makers stated.

Produced by Umesh Kumar Bansal, Rajesh Kejriwal, Kishor Pandurang Belekar, and Meera Chopra, the film's cinematography is by Karan B. Rawat. The Production Design is by Durgaprasad Mahapatra. Neetu Bharadwaj, Priyanka Dubey, and Kavitha have designed the costumes. The Sound Design is by Justin Jose. Gandhi Talks is releasing on January 30th marking the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
