Rowdy Janardhana, whose Title Glimpse was unveiled today, is set in a fictional world in the 1980s. Vijay Deverakonda may have played a flawed youngster in Arjun Reddy and a lover boy in Pelli Choopulu, but this film will feature him in his massiest, bloodiest avatar yet.
Producer Dil Raju stated that director Ravi Kiran Kola worked out meticulously the showcasing of the glimpse. For the Raja Vaaru Rani Gaaru director, his sophomore outing is a quantum leap. When asked if he has calculated the pros and cons of trusting a second-time director with a big-ticket pan-Indian project like Rowdy Janardhana, Dil Raju said that he is experienced enough to know what he is doing.
Ravi Kiran Kola described himself as a VD fan. He also mentioned the heroine Keerthy Suresh in his speech. The film's output has been shaping up as envisioned. He added that the Kingdom actor will be speaking in the East Godavari dialect of Andhra Pradesh. He will be behaving like his character more than acting out his emotions. "An eight-minute sequence was scheduled for the first day of filming. Vijay arrived a day early to meticulously rehearse his lines. Having been born and raised in that region myself, I can attest to his perfect authenticity," the director added.
Production Designer Dino Shankar stated that he could sense the scale of the director's vision from their very first meeting. He explained that what had been seen that day in the title glimpse was just a small sample and assured the audience that there was much more exciting content coming their way.
Cinematographer Anand C Chandran added that there were many more surprising and exciting visuals coming from the film, which they would be revealing very soon.
