Dacoit Teaser: Slick, musical and tense

The teaser for Dacoit is musical in an unexpected way. A remixed version of Kannepettaro Kannu Kottaro from Nagarjuna's Hello Brother adds a mischievous edge to the otherwise tense glimpse from a film whose characters seem to be morally ambiguous without exceptions.

Mrunal Thakur, shot for the Telugu and HIndi versions separately, much like the rest of the cast. "She learned her Telugu lines by getting her lines written in Marathi. The physical effort she has put in for her role is incredible," Adivi Sesh said.

"This time, I am up not for a minimum-guarantee movie but a maximum-guarantee movie. I decided to take on two passion projects at a time (G2 being the other one). Everyone is watching content as different as Money Heist and Squid Game. If you have to use an upgraded iPhone, we have to work the hardest to create it," Sesh said.

The movie's action-driven plot is evident from the fact that even its antagonist, Anurag Kashyap as a cop, has fights. Prakash Raj, Sunil, Atul Kulkarni, Zayn Marie Khan, and Kamakshi Bhaskarla will be seen in major roles.

Produced by Supriya Yarlagadda, the film is directed by Shaneil Deo. Danush Bhaskar is the cinematographer. Bheems Ceciroleo is the music director. The action choreography is by A Vijay, Naba, Maibam Nabakanta, and King Solomon.

Adivi Sesh, speaking at the teaser launch, confirmed the movie's theatrical release on 19 March 2026.
