Prakash Raj appreciates Leader

A versatile actor and a national award winner Prakash Raj was immensely impressed with Rana’s maiden film and Sekhar Kammula’s soul ‘Leader’. He watched the film recently and said that more films of this kind should come in near future.

In a press meet at Hyderabad on Thursday Prakash Raj said, “Although I’m not a part of this film I wanted to share my views with the public. While I received the National Award I was only thinking that the Telugu directors should concentrate on good subjects. ‘Leader’ is a quality film which I was thinking about. I liked this ‘Leader’. There is honesty in this film. Sekhar Kammula did a fantastic job in crafting this film. Rana gave an excellent performance. I congratulate Rana for selecting a very good subject for his debut film. Anybody who watches this film must self-criticise themselves. At this juncture I request the people to watch and encourage good experimental films like ‘Leader’, so that they will get the opportunity to watch more of such good films in future. I also regret for not acting in one such thought provoking film.”
